Fused Glass Garden Art Workshop
A glass fusing workshop, where you can create your own fused glass garden flower. By decorating a base piece of clear glass 180mm in size. Kiln fired to set your design and colours and then retired into a 3D shape of your choice.
You will learn how to cut glass with snips and a glass cutter, then be introduced to a range of products – frits and powders, coloured glass, and confetti. You will be shown a number of techniques for applying the products .
Choosing from a choice of 3 template ideas. You can design your flower to your own colour and techniques used. See images 1-3 for template designs. A mix of designs some just using glass powders, Frits and stringers. Other designs using glass cutter/ snips to make cut glass details (such as petal shapes) to overlay on the base and then use powders, fit and stingers.
