Copper Foil Bird  Workshop

Join our Copper Foil Stained Glass Workshop to learn the art of creating a stunning stained glass bird using the copper foil method. This workshop is ideal for beginners wanting to try their hand at this beautiful craft.

This is a great experience if you are looking for something to do with some friends or family. Maybe you just want to try something new, perhaps create a piece for a special gift.

Whatever your reason for coming, you can be sure you will have fun and be creative!

The classes are always small  so you are guaranteed full support and advice throughout the session. I am happy to take group bookings also, please get in touch to discuss.

 

What You Will Learn

• Fundamentals of cutting and shaping glass
• Applying copper foil to glass pieces
• Soldering techniques for joining pieces
• Finishing and polishing your stained glass artwork

 

 

What’s included in the price?

• Variety of coloured glass pieces
• Copper foil tape and solder
• Tools for cutting, foiling, and soldering
• Safety equipment (gloves and goggles)

  •     The session fee includes materials.

 

  • Your place will be confirmed on payment of booking. Cancellation will incur a £20 fee, if less than 7 days notice given.

 

  • On the day please be prompt, perhaps a few minutes early.

 

  • I reserve the right to cancel the course if I need to with as much notice as possible to you. With no liability for other cost such as accommodation or travel

 

  • Course is currently only suitable to students over 16 years of age. Not recommended for expectant mothers.

 

  • Please wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. We are not responsible for any injuries that may happen on the course. And we are not liable for your safety.

 

  • We are unable to offer refreshments at this time, but feel free to bring your own. We suggest in a container with a lid. If you are attending a longer session, ie a full day please bring a packed lunch.
