Friday March 21st 6-9pm (session one)
Saturday March 22nd 10.30-2.30 pm (session two)
Get creative and have fun designing and making your own Stained Glass panel, which incorporates fusing and painting techniques to your own design. Creating an A4 sized panel that will be leaded, soldered and cemented.
On day one, evening session you will design your panel and draw up a cartoon, which is a template for your design. You will then create any fused glass parts, which can have painted detail. These will be kiln fired over night, ready for leading together on day two.
We will have sample makes and resources for design inspiration, but feel free to bring your own ideas too.
Day two will consist of cutting any additional coloured glass sections for your design. Followed by learning to lead, solder and cement the pieces together, to create your end panel.
This is a two part session, so plenty of time to create your piece.
Each session will have a maximum of 5 places, to ensure everyone gets plenty of time and attention.
We recommend this course to anyone that has attended one of our fusing or stained glass courses already, as it’s a little more complex and good to have some prior experience of some of the techniques we will be using.
The booking is inclusive of tuition, materials and kiln firings for one make A4 in size.
This is a great way to make a present for someone special or just to have a go at something different, possibly a gift idea via a gift voucher. Maybe enjoy some time with friends and family.
For ages 16+ accompanied by an adult.
